Rumours that Susan Boyle is quitting Britain’s Got Talent are nonsense. Donny Osmond is reported in the Daily Record as saying he was honoured that he had helped insipre Susan. He added: “My wife had tears in her eyes. I got chills. She turned (Susan) turned the world around in 20 seconds. Donny has said that he wants to sing his hit ‘Puppy Love’ with her. In an extraordinary turn of events Susan has exceeded Barak Obama with 100 million hits on YOUTUBE.
West Lothian’s Leader Peter Johnston and Provost Tom Kerr have sent best wishes to the Britain’s Got Talent sensation.

Susan hit the headlines globally with her rendition of I Dreamed a Dream from the hit musical Les Miserables, which left the live audience and the television viewers completely stunned.
Now Susan is tipped for the final and a chance to win the competition.
Leader of the Council Peter Johnston commented: “We are absolutely thrilled for Susan. Her voice is simply magic. The latest news about being invited to appear with Ophra is just staggering. I understand that Simon Cowel has said that this could see Susan achieving a number one album in the USA which is just staggering.”
West Lothian’s Provost Tom Kerr said: “We would like to add our best wishes for the next stage of the competition. Susan has clearly wowed the audience, the judges and the world with a truly fantastic performance. Now tributes from across the globe are flooding in, including from Hollywood star Demi Moore. And with millions of hits on You Tube Susan has put Blackburn, West Lothian, firmly on the map.”
Tributes for Susan:
Arizona: You have a sensational singer in Susan Boyle. I bet with a little help from song writers and coaches she could become one of the most beautiful
singers in recent times. I hope Susan reaches a success in the singing community. Please let Susan know that there are I hope more like myself in the United States who really felt her singing was fantastic. I am originally from Bangor, Maine now residing in Green Valley, Arizona near Tucson. FANTASTIC SINGER FROM SCOTLAND. MANY KUDOS TO HER AND TO THE SCOT’S. P R J Sheldon, Arizona
Pennsylvania: Hello, I have just listened to Susan Boyle from West Lothian, Scotland sing on Britain’s Got Talent show. She is the sweetest lady with a voice from heaven above. She sang ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ and was given a standing ovation. Your town should look up to this wonderful woman and be so very proud of what she
has accomplished. She says she is 48, and has never had a boyfriend or been kissed. People should not judge a book by its cover. Beauty is not everything. I know this first hand, I am not a beauty. I hope your town gives this lady all she deserves. A true singing angel has been living right before your eyes in your town and now she has a chance of a lifetime. If possible, please let her read this e-mail and let her know America loves her. I was born in Keighly, West Yorkshire, England in 1944. Susan has a friend in Yardley, PA USA.
Minneapolis: The only other female voice I’ve heard that has stopped my breath was the first time I heard Julie Andrews – the clarity and phrasing and sweetness of Julie’s voice – but Ms. Boyle has all those things and adds such rich, deep heart – I’ve got to find recorded music from her. I’m just an old woman in Minneapolis, MN USA who loves music and the quality of Ms. Boyle’s singing is like finding pure, cool water in the desert. Please if you have an address to which I might direct a note, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. M K Messner. Minneapolis.

* Susan Boyle and her fabulous presence and voice made me visit your site. I believe she is from your town. Perhaps she has aided in your township and peoples to get into instant spotlight. Anyway, hope this brings good fortune for you all and prayers that Susan wins BGT. A (Scottish) Canuck.

Australia: I had the honour and privelege to hear the most moving voice i have ever heard. Your community must be proud of Susan Boyle. Her homely attitude and performance was very moving and brought tears to my eyes with happiness. Don’t keep her for yourselves. The world needs to hear more from this wonderfull lady with a given voice. I hope your all proud of her. NSW, Australia.

Canada: You have got yourself a sensation. Susan Boyle… Better help that lady out, she is going to be just overwhelmed with attention. Incredible lady and what an masing voice. You’re going to win Susan. No need to wish her luck! Victoria British Columbia Canada.

Virginia: I hope you don’t mind me emailing your government email box but I wanted to send a message to Susan Boyle. If I had an address I would surely write her a letter and seal it with a kiss. I know you all must be so proud of Susan for her beautiful singing. I live near Lynchburg, Virginia, USA. I have watched her video on u-tube many times and it makes me cry. I am 49 years old and I think it is really wonderful that Susan has had such an awesome performance and chance of a lifetime. Good luck and God Bless Susan Boyle! Thank you for lifting my spirits as I hear her sing! H Messerly, Evington, Virginia.
A news release received by West Lothian council.
YOUTUBE SENSATION SUSAN BOYLE OFFERED MOVIE ROLE
Award winning Colorado filmmaker Darla Rae has reached out to offer ‘Britain’s Got Talent” contestant and overnight Internet sensation Susan Boyle, a part in the feature film SECTION B. SECTION B (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1008037/) is now in pre-production with a cast and crew including music icon Cyndi Lauper, award winning actress Tippi Hedren, actress/model Marla Maples, Maples daughter Tiffany Trump (in her acting debut), ‘America?s Got Talent’ finalist Queen Emily David, Steven Parker (ER, Juno) and legendary cinematographer William ‘Billy’ Fraker (Tombstone, Rosemary’s Baby).
SECTION B is a dramatic comedy about Baby Boomers who put their lives on hold to chase their dreams. In the film, a group of ‘over the hill? wannabe actors give up everything to realize their dreams and attend a prestigious acting academy. Once there, they meet their biggest nemesis – youth. It is a family feature film appealing to all generations and encourages viewers of all ages to never give up on their dream. It’s based on the real life story of producer Darla Rae’s experience at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, in Los Angeles.
Rae says ‘Susan Boyle’s real life story is exactly what the movie Section B is about – chasing your dream no matter what. And I understand her completely, because our stories are almost identical. I promised my ill mother who passed away that I wouldn’t give up my dream of making films. So at age 47 I wrote, directed, and produced my first feature film, The Goal. We went on to win awards, and now we’re getting ready to shoot Section B with some amazing talent. When Susan stepped onto the stage and began to sing, tears welled up in my eyes. As I watched her, I felt a connection and realized she’d be perfect for one of the roles in Section B. We have an original song titled “Don’t Lose the Vision that would be a perfect duet for Susan and her American counterpart, Queen Emily David from ‘America’s Got Talent’. Susan studied at Edinburgh Acting School in the early ’90s but was forced to leave and care for her sick mother. I’d love to help her finally fulfill her dream of being an actress! We?ve even sent offers through the local Pub manager where Susan Boyle sings Karaoke. Hopefully our offer will reach her and you’ll see her on the silver screen soon.”
